Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Sergei Tropin ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the mobile application Word-maker (the "App").

The App is a word puzzle game suitable for all age groups (rated PEGI 3 / ESRB Everyone). It contains no violence or explicit content.

1. Information We Collect and Retention Policies

A. Leaderboards and Player Profiles

To provide competitive online leaderboards and match-making, the App processes basic player identification data in Firebase (Google Cloud):

• Firebase Client ID: A randomly generated anonymous installation identifier.
• Nickname: Your public Google Play Games nickname, OR an automatically generated anonymous default nickname (e.g., "Player12345") if you play without logging into Google Play Games.

B. Temporary Matchmaking Data

During active online multiplayer sessions, temporary session records (containing your Google Play Games ID and display nickname) are created in Firebase to manage the active game room. These temporary records are automatically deleted immediately after the match concludes.

C. Periodic Data Purging & Retention Limit

Global leaderboards and associated client IDs stored in Firebase are completely reset and permanently deleted several times a year (typically every 1 to 3 months). No historical player IDs or leaderboard entries are retained permanently on our servers.

D. Firebase Infrastructure Security

Firebase automatically encrypts all data in transit using HTTPS/TLS protocols and manages secure data storage on Google Cloud. The developer does not collect real names, personal email addresses, device serial numbers, or physical location data.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The App integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to provide online leaderboards, achievements, and advertising. These services operate under their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Games Services: Used to track achievements, display global leaderboards, and authenticate optional user profiles. Google Privacy Policy

3. Children’s Privacy

The App is designed for general audiences of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information (such as real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or precise location) from children. Anonymous play is fully supported using default generated nicknames.

4. Data Deletion and User Rights

Since leaderboards are periodically and automatically purged every few months, all stored client IDs and nicknames are wiped automatically. However, if you wish to request the immediate manual removal of your current leaderboard entry or nickname prior to the automated purge, please contact us at ewrld911@gmail.com with your display nickname.
